Rota Planner Pro is a shift calendar. We built it so that your rota stays with you: there are no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of ours that receive your data.
Your shifts, notes, leave, holidays, pay settings and reminders are stored only on your device. We never receive, see or sell them. Backup files are created only when you choose to, and are saved wherever you choose (for example Google Drive or your email) under your control. Uninstalling the app deletes the data on the device.
The free version shows banner ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and app interaction and diagnostic data. In the European Economic Area and the UK we ask for your consent through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Users who unlock Pro see no ads, and the ads SDK is not started for them.
Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly) and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play.
When you tap the microphone (shift tasks, Ask my roster), Android's own speech recognition service on your phone (usually provided by Google) turns your speech into text. Rota Planner Pro only receives the resulting text and keeps it on your device. The app never records or stores audio.
If you choose to share your availability, only "free / busy" (or "day / night / off") for the dates you pick is included in the image, message or code you send. Your employer, workplace, notes, tasks, pay and colleagues are never included. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Activity logs and professional records stay on your device and are only exported when you choose to (for example a PDF you share yourself).
Shift reminders and the evening summary are created on your device. They are optional and can be turned off at any time.
The app is intended for working adults and is not directed at children under 13.
